Research

Most of my research focuses on the study of General Relativity using a combination of numerical and analytical techniques. In particular, I am interested in the study of black holes in various different contexts. The two main problems I am actively working on are the study of Extreme-mass-ratio inspirals through the self-force approach and the study of fully non-linear solutions of Einstein’s equations through the use of numerical relativity simulations.

I have developed a lot of code during my research work, most of which I have made freely available under an open source licence. I have have also given  talks, some of which are available online. For a list of publications I have contributed to, see the list on my Inspire page.
