About Me

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at University College Dublin. My research interests involve the study of black holes, gravitational waves and cosmic strings. I am particularly focused on numerical and perturbation theory approaches to solving Einstein’s equations of General Relativity. I am leader of the UCD Relativity group, a co-lead of the Multiscale Self-Force collaboration, a member of the LISA DDPC, the LISA Consortium and LISA Ireland, a founding developer of the Black Hole Perturbation Toolkit, and a contributor to the Einstein Toolkit.

See my research page for more details of my research interests, including a list of publications, talks available online, and open source code I have written.
